Customized Training
UF/TREEO can customize courses that provide in-depth coverage of topics that are specific to your facility, industry or agency. When you choose an on-site customized program from the University of Florida, you are selecting a learning experience that is second-to-none with respect to impact and practical application. Either existing programs may be customized to meet your specific needs or a new program can be developed for your organization in a variety of subject areas. Our customized programs offer the flexibility in scheduling based on your requirements and can be offered in a location of your choice, either your organization's facility, on UF/TREEO's Gainesville campus or an off-site location. Each program is designed to meet the objectives of your small team or large group.
Specific environmental training programs and materials have been developed by UF/TREEO for the pulp and paper industry, wastewater treatment facilities, solid waste facilities, state water inspectors, county school boards, local government agencies, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, St. Johns River Water Management District, and the US Environmental Protection Agency.

Participants learn the instructional technology skills necessary to deliver the information to their staff. UF/TREEO is a partner with the National Environmental Safety and Health Training Association (formerly National Environmental Training Association).
Research
Within its 20,000-square-foot facility, UF/TREEO is well equipped to conduct research activities. The UF/TREEO technical staff works closely with UF/Environmental Engineering professors in the planning, conducting and evaluation of each project.
