Green Building Fundamentals for the LEED Green AssociateThere are no prerequisites for the Green Building Fundamentals for the LEED Green Associate course, this course is not a prerequisite for the LEED-AP BD&C and Exam Preparation. This course provides the student the necessary background in green building fundamentals and the LEED V3 rating systems for the students to be able to take and pass the Green Associates exam given by the Green Building Certification Institute.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive a Certificate of Completion which meets the GBCI requirements for the education option for demonstrating experience with green building fundamentals, a requirement to become eligible to take the LEED Green Associate exam. LEED-AP BD&C and Exam PreparationThis course is designed for students who have taken and passed the Green Associate exam and have met the minimum experience requirements for becoming a LEED-AP for Building Design & Construction (BD&C). The course will be comprised of a detailed process and technical overview of the LEED products covered by the LEED-AP BD&C credential: LEED-NC 2009, LEED-CS 2009, and LEED for Schools (LEED-S) 2009. A course manual, quizzes and mock examination will be provided to the students to assist them in understanding the key concepts required by professionals for managing the LEED requirements for projects covered byt the LEED-AP BD&C credential. A supplementary website for this course will also be made available to assist the student in preparing for the LEED-AP BD&C examination. |
