Recently the UF/TREEO Center mailed reminder notices to backflow testers due on or before December 31, 2005. Unfortunately these same notices were mailed to testers due in 2006.
Backflow testers must recertify every two years. All testers should check their wallet cards to see which month and year they are due to re-certify.
Backflow testers can also check their recertification due date on this Web page: http://backflow.treeo.ufl.edu/reports.aspx.
You can search for your information by COUNTY within Florida and by STATE outside of Florida.
Find your county and click on "Submit". Backflow testers are listed alphabetically. Your tester number and recertification due date are posted.
