Launched in 1990, this program was developed to help utilities successfully implement and maintain an effective cross-connection control program. It is specifically designed for current and potential cross-connection control supervisors, coordinators, program managers, water department personnel, public works directors and utility directors. The program consists of three courses: Introduction to Backflow Prevention (or Backflow Prevention Tester Training and Certification), Survey and Inspection, and Ordinance and Organization.
