Giving Back to the Community

One of the greatest benefits of hosting a sustainable event is the opportunity to focus on the social side of sustainability and be able to give to charitable organizations, like the two which have been selected for this conference; Give Kids the World and Clean the World.

The proceeds from the Silent Auction will go to Give Kids the World.               
Give Kids The World is a non-profit organization that exists only to fulfill the wishes of all children with life-threatening illnesses and their families from around the world to experience a memorable, joyful, cost-free visit to the Central Florida attractions, and to enjoy the magic of Give Kids The World Village for as long as there is a need. Give Kids The World has earned the Florida Green Lodging Certification as a result of their internal recycling program, diligent use of energy and water, and their commitment to conserving and protecting Florida's natural resources. Led by the efforts of the GKTW Green Team, they are proud to provide an environmentally-friendly and "green" Village to their staff, volunteers, partners and families.
 
 
Clean the World: We are accepting donations of trail/hotel size shampoos, soaps and lotions to donate to the Clean the World organization.
 
Clean the World gets soap to people who really need it.
Clean the World distributes recycled soap products, along with appropriate educational materials, to impoverished countries worldwide, and to domestic homeless shelters.
