Description

This course reviews the duties of spotters at landfills, C&D Sites and Transfer Stations. Topics include: health & safety, types of landfills, regulations and management of prohibited waste. This course is from 8:00am-12:00pm and is on the same day as the 8- hour Spotter course.

Course Objective
At the completion of the training the student should be able to:
  • State the duties of spotters at landfills, C&D sites and Transfer stations
  • Discuss health & safety issues at those sites; types of landfills; and regulations and management of prohibited waste.
  • Participant must be present for entire class time to receive CEU and Certificate of Attendance
Who Should Attend
This course is designed as a review course for spotters and operators. Persons attending should have already completed an 8 hour Initial Spotter course.
