This course illustrates dozens of successful towns and cities of all sizes; showing how they changed their town planning, roadway design and funding decisions from reactive to proactive, achieving livability and financial success. Participants will have the opportunity to gain insights in urban planning, transportation, traffic calming, and the aesthetics of place making. The seminar includes a walk through the neighborhood; evaluating local successes and failures. In the past decade this seminar has successfully motivated men and women in 2,000 communities in international markets.
The trainer, Dan Burden has been on the road for nine years helping towns and cities get their feet back on the ground. Time Magazine listed Dan as one of the six most important civic innovators in the world. Dan is known for his ability to teach people how to see their own community with fresh and expanded visions.
