Description	This training is a four hour hazardous waste compliance course designed for solid waste facility personnel. The purpose of the training is to teach individuals who work at landfills, construction and demolition sites, solid waste transfer stations, and materials recovery facilities how to identify and properly manage any hazardous waste they may encounter. Course Objectives Upon completing this course, the student should know the following information: · the difference between solid waste and hazardous waste · the difference between hazardous waste and Universal waste · what regulations govern waste management, including solid waste, hazardous waste, and Universal waste · responsibilities of personnel working at solid waste management facilities to prevent hazardous waste from entering the system · how to identify and classify hazardous waste · how to properly manage wastes that have been identified as hazardous waste · how to plan for incidents involving hazardous waste · how to properly document hazardous waste management activities and why recordkeeping is important Onsite Training Available.
