Description

During this course, students will be introduced to basic laboratory safety and gravimetric, spectrophotometric, electrochemical, titrimetric, and microbiological methods. The units include instruction on the laboratory procedures for microscopic, coliform BOD5, COD, ammonia, grease and oil, chlorine and solids analysis.

About the Course

This self-paced Wastewater education course on the Internet consists of online exercises, presentations, self-grading quizzes, audio, and final exam. These instructional materials will provide a basic operational understanding of wastewater analysis. Students taking this course should be computer literate and be familiar with PC-based systems.

Textbook is included in registration fee.  We will ship the book to you upon receipt of registration payment.  Please allow 2-3 weeks for shipping.

Utilizes "Operation of Wastewater Treatment Plants", Vol. II, CSUS Foundation.

Requirements for Online Courses:

  • You should be computer literate and familiar with PC-based systems to participate in the online courses.
  • Prepayment is required before you will receive log-in information, including address and password.
  • You must provide an email address at time of registration/payment.
  • Courses must be completed within six months from date of registration. Certificate will be issued on the date you pass the final exam.
