Description

This course enables you to identify the two basic types of water systems, list the types of primary contaminants, explain the Total Coliform Rule and the Surface Water Treatment Rule (SWTR). In addition, the course trains you to describe the Primary Drinking Water Standards, list the secondary contaminants, develop and conduct a sampling program, record and report results, comply with notification requirements and prepare a Consumer Confidence Report (CCR).

Who Should Take the Course

This course is recommended for B and C level Water Treatment Plant Operators.

Requirements for Online Courses

  • You should be computer literate and familiar with PC-based systems to participate in the online courses.
  • Prepayment is required before you will receive log-in information, including address and password.
  • You must provide an email address at time of registration/payment.
  • Courses must be completed within six months from date of registration. Certificate will be issued on the date you pass the final exam.
