Description

This course describes the various types of potable water filters and how they work and explains how other treatment processes affect the performance of the filtration process. It also trains the operator how to operate and maintain filters under normal and abnormal process conditions, how to start up and shut down filtration processes and how to safely perform duties related to the various types of filters.

Who Should Take the Course

This course is recommended for B and C level Water Treatment Plant Operators.

Requirements for Online Courses

  • You should be computer literate and familiar with PC-based systems to participate in the online courses.
  • Prepayment is required before you will receive log-in information, including address and password.
  • You must provide an email address at time of registration/payment.
  • Courses must be completed within six months from date of registration. Certificate will be issued on the date you pass the final exam.
