Description

This course gives reasons for preventing pollution and identifies various types of waste discharges. It helps the operator recognize the effects of waste discharges on receiving waters. The course also describes the different types of solids in wastewater, explains what happens in a natural cycle and identifies a NPDES permit.

Text: Operation of Wastewater Treatment Plants Vol. I Textbook is included in registration fee.  We will ship the book to you upon receipt of registration payment.  Please allow 2-3 weeks for shipping.

Requirements for Online Courses:

  • You should be computer literate and familiar with PC-based systems to participate in the online courses.
  • Prepayment is required before you will receive log-in information, including address and password.
  • You must provide an email address at time of registration/payment.
  • Courses must be completed within six months from date of registration. Certificate will be issued on the date you pass the final exam.
