Course

This course follows the EPA's Asbestos Model Accreditation Plan and is accepted in Florida as meeting the refresher training requirements for asbestos project designers. You review requirements for project designers and receive updates on the newest asbestos regulations. Successful completion of a 50-question exam is required. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Reaccreditation as an Asbestos Project Designer. Accreditation for this course is provided by MACTEC Engineering and Consulting, Inc. The cost of the course includes course materials and the exam at the end of the course. (This course held in conjunction with MACTEC Engineering and Consulting, Inc.)

In Florida, Asbestos Project Designers must work under the direction of a Florida Licensed Asbestos Consultant.

Daily breaks and lunch at UF TREEO provided.

You must be in attendance for entire course to receive continuing education credit and a Certificate of Reaccreditation.

About the Course

This course is held in conjunction with MACTEC Engineering and Consulting, Inc. The course complies with the EPA’s Asbestos Model Accreditation Plan and is accepted by the State of Florida as meeting the refresher training requirement for asbestos project designers. You review project designer requirements and asbestos regulation updates. Upon successful completion of the course and exam, you will receive a Certificate of Reaccreditation as an Asbestos Project Designer.  Reaccreditation for this course is provided by MACTEC Engineering and Consulting, Inc. This course includes an examination at no additional cost.

This course has been approved by the EPA and the State of Florida for persons wishing to receive reaccreditation. To be reaccredited, you must provide proof of having successfully completed the initial EPA-approved training course and any annual refresher courses in the discipline in which you seek reaccreditation. If your initial and refresher course certificates were issued through another training provider, you must submit copies with your registration form. On-site refresher training is available for large groups.

Reaccreditations for this course are provided by MACTEC Engineering and Consulting, Inc. under the approval of the State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Asbestos Licensing Unit. Successful completion of a 50-question exam is required to receive your Certificate of Reaccreditation.

Certification and Accreditation

This course has been approved by the EPA and the State of Florida for persons wishing to receive reaccreditation. The course complies with the EPA’s Asbestos Model Accreditation Plan and is accepted by the State of Florida as meeting the refresher training requirement for asbestos project designers. Upon successful completion of the course and exam, you will receive a certificate of reaccreditation as an Asbestos Project Designer (under TSCA Title II), about two weeks after class from MACTEC Engineering and Consulting, Inc.

Reaccreditations for this course are provided by MACTEC Engineering and Consulting, Inc. under the approval of the State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Asbestos Licensing Unit.
