Description

This course meets the required annual refresher requirement for the accredited worker as required by EPA and OSHA. The course reviews the worker topics, state-of-the-art work practices and changes in federal, state, and local regulations.

Upon completion of this course and exam, you will receive a Certificate of Reaccreditation as an Asbestos Worker under TSCA Title II/AHERA. (Contact us for dates, cost and availability.)

Participant must be present for entire class time to receive CEUs and a Certificate of Reaccreditation.

Certification and Accreditation

This course has been granted full approval by the EPA and the State of Florida to meet AHERA and ASHARA requirements for Class I and Class II workers performing work in K-12 schools and public and commercial buildings. The course also meets OSHA requirements. Upon completion of this course the student will receive a certificate of reaccreditation as a certified Asbestos Worker under TSCA Title II/AHERA.

Florida Department of Professional Regulation: Asbestos Licensing Unit: This course is approved by the Florida Department of Professional Regulation. Training Provider Number: FL-49-0000995.

Florida Licensed Asbestos Contractors and Consultants: This course has been approved by the Florida Department of Professional Regulation for licensed Asbestos Contractor's and Consultant's biennium license renewal course continuing education credits. Requirements: Consultants: two days; Contractors: one day. (Chapter 455, Florida Statutes) Provider Number: 0000995

About the Course

This course has been granted full approval by the EPA and the State of Florida to meet annual AHERA/ASHARA reaccreditation requirements for Class I and II Asbestos Workers performing asbestos work in K-12 schools, as well as public and commercial buildings. Worker accreditation is required on projects where ACBM to be removed exceeds the limits of small-scale, short-duration projects or where states require worker certification.

The refresher course reviews and discusses changes in federal, state, and local regulations, development in state-of- the-art procedures, and a review of key aspects of the initial course training as determined by the State of Florida. Successful completion of a 25-question exam is required.

An annual refresher is required.
