Laws and Rules for Florida Engineers

Description
This four-hour course satisfies the Florida Board of Professional Engineers professional development hours (PDHs) in law and rules. Required by Chapter 471.017(3), F.S. and the rules of the Board, Chapter 61G15-22.010(2), F.A.C.
 
Class times vary among locations. 
 
Daily breaks are scheduled. You will be allowed a one hour break for lunch.
 
 
Course Objective
At the completion of the training the student should be able to identify Florida engineering laws & rules, which includes identifying key sections of Chapter 471 and 61G15for licensed professional engineers.
 
You must be present for entire course time to receive continuing education credit and a Certificate of Attendance.
 
Who Should Attend
Registered professional engineers in Florida that need four hours of rules and ethics continuing education.

Brian has been with MACTEC since 1987 and graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's in Materials Science and Engineering. He is a Professional Engineer and licensed asbestos consultant in Florida.
Brian has been an instructor with UF/TREEO Center's training programs since 1989.
