On-site Training Only

Learn to approach ISO 14001:2004 registration from the professional auditor's point of view by focusing on key skills that enhance auditing capability. Students will evaluate environmental management systems, plan and perform an audit, record and report nonconformities, and examine environmental system documentation.
Course topics include: 
  • Audit methods and techniques
  • Reporting audit findings
  • Conducting opening and closing meetings
  • Following up the audit

Prerequisite: Successfully complete the WEBCT knowledge check of competency on ISO 14001:2004 requirements. Students are automatically registered for Understanding ISO 14001:2004 at no extra cost.

 
Course Objective
At the completion of the training the student should be able to discuss audit methods and techniques to obtain ISO14001:2004 certification.

Companies undergoing a third-party audit
Individuals pursuing RABQSA EMS auditor certification
 
Certification and Accreditation
This course is certified by RABSQA International and covers the knowledge examination part of the competencies for AU, EM, and TL. Learners who demonstrate competency are nominated to RABSQA International for Provisional Certification. Learners deemed Not Yet Competent have opportunities to retrain and be re-examined.
