Join a TREEO email list In the 2000 legislature session, Florida Statutes were amended to require that engineers complete eight hours of continuing education per renewal cycle.

  • Four hours of Florida's engineering laws and rules
  • Four hours in the licensee's area of practice

UF/TREEO is an approved FBPE continuing education provider. Please see the course listings on the right for FBPE professional development hours. The center also offers the FBPE required course Laws and Rules for Florida Engineers. If you are interested in earning engineering continuing education credit, please bring your license number and photo identification with you to class.

For additional information about these courses, please contact Stephanie West.

Florida Board of Professional Engineers

The 2011 renewal period is for classes taken during 03/01/2009 – 02/28/2011.

When TREEO students sign in on the special credit form for Engineering Credit (PDH), we report the class, hours and student to the Department of Business and Professional Regulations Sofware.

Professional Engineers cannot self report their continuing education hours. License holders should verify their license status and confirm entry of the required continuing education hours by the provider from which you completed the hours. You may view your continuing education by logging into your account and clicking on "View Continuing Ed." If you do not see your credits, please contact your course provider. If the course provider does not respond or they have problems with the process, advise them to contact our office.
