Lead Abatement

UF/TREEO Center has EPA-Accreditation to offer lead-based painted activities courses pursuant to 40 CFR Part 745, Subpart L (61 FR 45778, August 29, 1996) for lead-based paint activities listed in these pages. These courses are only approved for purposes of certification under Section 402 of TSCA.

The Florida program is run by EPA Region 4 since Florida is one of the states that does not have its own program. To work in target housing or child-occupied facilities in Florida, you must be accredited by EPA Region 4.
