The University of Florida, Training, Research and Education for Environmental Occupations (UF/TREEO) Health and Safety courses promote compliance with the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Occupational, Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Federal, State and Local regulations. The courses are designed to promote general safety in the workplace through the use of real-life case studies, demonstrations and hands-on training. There is a small student-to-instructor ratio and highly qualified and experienced instructors train with current and comprehensive course materials.
Engineering PDH's available
Florida Statutes require that engineers complete eight hours of continuing education per renewal cycle.
- Four hours of Florida's engineering laws and rules
- Four hours in the licensee's area of practice
The University of Florida, Training, Research and Education for Environmental Occupations (UF/TREEO) is an approved FBPE continuing education provider. There are many UF/TREEO courses that are approved for FBPE professional development hours, this is indicated in the individual course description. UF/TREEO also offers the FBPE required course Laws and Rules for Florida Engineers in November of each even year. If you are interested in earning engineering continuing education credit, please bring your license number and photo identification with you to class.
