Dawn coordinates numerous conferences every year and oversees UF/TREEO Center’s solid waste courses, in addition to maintaining the Solid Waste Management Facility Operator and Spotter Database for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. She began coordinating courses at UF/TREEO in August 1986 in the water quality section.

She is a member of American Water Works Association (AWWA), Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA), Water Environment Federation (WEF), American Water Resources Association (AWRA), Recycle Florida Today (RFT) and Society of Government Meeting Planners (SGMP).

Dawn has a master’s degree from the University of Florida.
