Beginning March 1, 2001, licensed drinking water and wastewater operators in Florida must obtain continuing education units (CEUs) in order to renew their license through the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Operator Certification Program. The UF/TREEO Center has been approved by FDEP as a CEU provider. This means that UF/TREEO Center is able to approve courses for Drinking Water (DW) and Domestic Wastewater (WW) CEUs for operator license renewal.
Operators: A list of UF/TREEO courses which have been approved for CEUs under the FDEP Operators Certification program is now available.
Sponsors: Organizations/companies wishing to offer courses to operators for CEUs can submit courses to UF/TREEO for approval. To download approval forms and information about becoming a sponsor, see the links below. (Applications for CEU approval must be submitted along with payment.)
